The Hegmann Group, in part, has now officially arrived at the Liquid Crystal Institute at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. 

As the group leader, I started at Kent State University as an Associate Professor and Ohio Research Scholar in science and technology of advanced nanomaterials at the Liquid Crystal Institute (LCI). In addition, I am retaining an adjunct Associate Professor position at the University of Manitoba in the Departments of Chemistry as well as Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Some members of the Hegmann Group have relocated with me to KSU in 2012, other group members will stay at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada).
